On the subject of movie soundtracks, I've been playing a lot of the El Topo soundtrack by Martin Fierro on my way into work the last few weeks. It's pretty damn good.



The it's a bit hard to make out the music in the trailer but it gives you the idea.

That is all manner of awesome. I still have a soft spot for Space 1999, though:

Part of that was sampled for a big beat track called "Catch the Break".

Dude... BBJ totally Karatee'd THE FUCK out of that guys ear. I was like oh shit, what's gonna happen now! And then Sha-BLAM right to the old ear-o. I agree, watching that would have sucked though if it weren't for the renegade funk playing in the background. Good stuff.
