Halloween Mix

I put together a mix for Halloween. It consists of various tracks from older horror movies, etc. This isn't some "best of" soundtracks mix, but rather a mix of moody, vintage material mostly taken from obscure/cult/B-movie films.

Download Mix in zip file here.

Track details:

01 - Gene Moore, Dark Entry
"Carnival of Souls"
02 - Paul Glass, The Seed Of Astaroth
"To the Devil a Daughter"
03 - Giorgio Gaslini, School At Night (Lullaby - Music Box Version)
"Profondo rosso"
04 - Ennio Morricone, Dark Revelation
"Exorcist II: The Heretic"
05 - Richard Band, Cantos Profanae
"Troll"
06 - Goblin, Suspiria (Celesta And Bells)

I thought the Suspiria soundtracks was done by "The Goblins", as opposed to "Goblin". Am I nitpicking?

I'm kicking myself because I found a 12" album by the Goblins in a Dearborn record store several years ago. It was a soundtrack to another horror film they did. I didn't have any cash on me at the time... forgot to go back.

I just downloaded your mix. I already have a handful of the songs on CD, but it will be a fun listen at work. :)

If you watch Suspiria, it says "The Goblins with Dario Argento". But as I understand it, the band is called Goblin.

In the article you sent, some of their records (at least one) are credited as "The Goblins"... probably the same group.

I played your mix at our office Halloween party. At some point, someone was looking up Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" on YouTube, and that song got played over the Paul Glass piece which made everything just awesome.

:)
